Global Engagement and Research
Dr. Matos has been part of the U.S. Department of State and Sandia National Laboratories Biosecurity Engagement Program. This program’s main goals include addressing emerging terrorist threats, engaging legitimate biological scientists, building relationships, sharing technical expertise, and promoting good practices. Dr. Matos has worked with scientists from Egypt, Mali, Turkey, Malaysia, and Nigeria.
